The Progress Pride flag is a reimagined version of the traditional Pride Flag, with added stripes (white, pink, light blue, black and brown) to represent the Trans community as well as minority or marginalized communities (here), (here).
Other critics were less specific, saying the Progress Pride flag was displayed as more prominent overall.
Consulted by Reuters Fact Check, vexillologists (flag experts) offered different perspectives on whether the White House display was a violation of the Flag Code.
